It’s April Fool’s Day, but instead of trying to trick people April Fool (I never manage to come up with any good tricks anyway), I figured I’d try to be nice to everyone.
In Norway, Maundy Thursday (Skjærtorsdag) and Good Friday (Langfredag) are considered church holidays, which more importantly means they’re days off from work or school. I’ve found that in many other countries this is not so, but if you feel that I’m a few days early according to your country’s calendar, know that I’m right on time according to mine. Either way the greeting sticks.
