Finally, now that every single Biblical prediction of the End of the World so far has failed, occasionally spectacularly, more often pathetically, and the Mayans disappointingly turned out not to have predicted anything at all, we’ve learned from previous experiences (or rather the lack thereof) and turn now to the rock solid predictions wrought from the ancient wisdom of Old Norse Mythology.

Personally I have my own theory:
“What are all those dancing monkeys doing here? Rather an odd and inappropriately up-beat display for the Day of the End of the World, isn’t it?”
“Well, it’s all very embarrassing and such, but it turns out there was a bit of a spelling error in the Old Scripture; It was supposed to read ‘Ape Calypso’.”
